I’ve always liked the Avro Anson. It was a trainer and reconnaissance aircraft used by the Canadian, British, and Australian forces during World War 2. But the end of the war did not signal the end of the Anson. The Anson continued in service until at least the 1970s.

According to Wikipedia:

The Avro Anson is a British twin-engined, multi-role aircraft built by the aircraft manufacturer Avro. Large numbers of the type served in a variety of roles for the Royal Air Force (RAF), Fleet Air Arm (FAA), Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and numerous other air forces before, during, and after the Second World War.

I have more Avro Anson info and ephemera. I’ll share it all in future posts in this series.
