While on an archeological dig through old boxes of even older papers, I ran across some drawings I had made back in the early- to mid-1970s. Exact dating is impossible since I can’t remember anything that happened five days ago much less 50 years in the past.

This guy is some sort of monster insect I dreamed up. It was probably inspired by the giant praying mantises known as Kamacuras first seen in Son of Godzilla (1967). This one’s probably just as big, but more ant-like.

I also drew a cat back then. This one’s probably based on reality. We had a neighbor who had a couple of Siamese cats.
